A Family Name Behind Every Job
2 Sons Grnd Wrx LLC is a family-owned groundwork company based in Rockwall, Texas. Owner Kevin Scott and his wife, Ashley Scott, named the company after their two sons, and the plan has always been a family business in the truest sense: one son will eventually help run the business side, and the other will be out in the field running equipment, the same way Kevin has for years.
Our story
12+ Years Behind the Controls
Kevin has spent more than 12 years running heavy equipment. He got his start operating equipment for a pool-building business, where he handled the excavation and dig-out for every pool himself rather than subcontracting it out. When that industry got crowded, he made the call to refocus the business on what he’d always been best at: moving dirt, clearing land, and taking down what needed to come down.
That shift became 2 Sons Grnd Wrx, and today the company handles land clearing, demolition, excavation, tree removal, dirt and rock delivery, forestry mulching, pond construction, and land grading for property owners across the Rockwall area.

How We Work
Kevin runs this company on a simple standard: do honest work, treat people fairly, and never take on more than the team can do right. The goal isn’t to become the biggest groundwork outfit in North Texas — it’s to stay a company where the owner still shows up, still answers the phone, and still stands behind the work. That means straight answers about what a job actually needs, fair pricing, and a crew that treats a customer’s property like it matters, because it does.

A Growing Team
2 Sons Grnd Wrx now runs with six full-time employees and a rotating group of part-time help during busier stretches, backed by a fleet of heavy equipment for everything from brush clearing to full demolition and excavation work. As the business grows, the plan is to keep investing in more equipment and more hands so the crew can take on bigger jobs without losing the personal, small-company feel that got them here.
